Mounia Aram is an entrepreneur, global speaker, and advocate for diversity and inclusion with over two decades of experience in animation marketing and cultural exchange. Mounia has dedicated her career to fostering inclusivity, representation, and cross-cultural collaborations in the industry.
As the Africa Council Chair of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, Mounia actively champions diverse storytelling and equitable opportunities in animation. Her contributions to the industry earned her the Black in Animation Award as a Cultural Innovator, and she was featured on CNN’s African Voices: Change Makers for her work in elevating African animation on the global stage.
Beyond her advocacy, Mounia is a mentor and industry leader, delivering impactful workshops and panels across six continents. At SAC25, Mounia will facilitate discussions on AI in children’s content, the rise of animation in MENA and Africa, and inclusivity in the industry, also will contribute with her insights on creating a more inclusive and globally connected industry.
