Raymond Malinga is an acclaimed Ugandan animation director, producer, and CEO of Creatures Animation Studio, recognized globally for bringing African narratives vividly to life. His passion for storytelling led him to collaborate with legendary platforms such as Disney+, where he directed the short Herderboy—the opening episode of the groundbreaking anthology Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire.
Since founding Creatures Animation Studio in Kampala, Raymond has dedicated his career to developing original content, including short films, TV series, and feature-length animations that celebrate the African spirit in imaginative new ways. Among his notable works is the multi-award-winning animated short film A Kalabanda Ate My Homework, which garnered international acclaim and showcased Uganda's vibrant storytelling to a global audience.
