Born in 1981, Ryosuke Tsuda is a renowned cinematographer and visual effects artist in the Japanese animation industry. After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University in 2004, he began his career at Anime International Co. Ltd., later joining TROYCA Inc., where he contributed to acclaimed titles such as Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha, Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation, and the Idolish7 series as Compositing Director, as well as Aldnoah. Zero, Re: Creators, and Overtake! as a Visual Effects Artist.

He gained international recognition for his cinematography on Makoto Shinkai’s Your Name and served as Compositing Director on both Weathering With You and Suzume, the latter earning him a 2024 Annie Award nomination for Best FX.

Tsuda is also actively involved in CoMix Wave Films’ short-form projects, including Challenge the World! | 2023 Pokémon World Championships, MOTOYAMA ENG. WORKS 100th Anniversary Commercial PV, Nine Adventures | Pokémon TCG, and Pokémon Day 2025 | Dragonite and Letter Carrier, further showcasing his expertise in blending cinematic vision with cutting-edge animation techniques.
