Comfort Arthur is an award-winning animator, illustrator, and visual artist. With training from the Royal College of Arts, extensive experience in animation, and a deep passion for storytelling, work has been showcased globally. After establishing The Comfy Studio in Ghana, projects like Black Barbie have screened at over 100 film festivals, earning multiple awards. Recognition includes becoming the first Ghanaian animator to win the African Academy Movie Award for Best Animation with the web series I’m Living in Ghana Get Me Out of Here. Contributions also include serving as Episodic Director for JoJo and Gran Gran, a CBeebies animated preschool show.
At SAC25, insights will be shared on women leadership in the animation industry, along with expertise in animation direction and storytelling.
