Mahmoud Hemeda is an Egyptian animation director and producer dedicated to showcasing authentic Egyptian and African visual culture. A graduate of the High Cinema Institute, he has over 13 years of experience, working on films such as Hateer (2012) and Farkha Wa Laken (2013), while mastering a wide range of animation styles.
In 2018, he co-founded Samaka Studio and Animatex Animation Festival, aiming to position Egyptian and African animation on the global stage. His work emphasizes cultural storytelling and innovation, making Samaka Studio a leading force in the MENA animation industry.
