Masayuki Miyaji is a renowned anime director who began his career as an assistant director on Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away. He later went freelance, contributing storyboards and directing episodes for acclaimed series such as Overman King Gainer and Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven before directing the TV anime Zamdo and the feature film FUSE: Memoirs of the Hunter Girl.

His expertise in storyboarding and direction extends to major titles, including Attack on Titan, Haikyu!!, Gundam Reconguista in G, Golden Kamuy, and Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.
