Nik Ranieri, born on August 23, 1961, in Toronto, Canada, embarked on his animation journey at Sheridan College in Oakville, Canada. Following his college education, he honed his craft in various commercial houses in Canada before making a significant move to England. It was there that he contributed as a Journeyman Animator to the groundbreaking film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?," setting the stage for his remarkable career at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he officially joined in 1988.Throughout his illustrious career, Nik has held Supervising Animator positions on numerous Disney classics, including "The Princess and the Frog," "Meet the Robinsons," "Chicken Little," "The Emperor's New Groove," "Hercules," "Pocahontas," "Beauty and the Beast," and "The Rescuers Down Under." His exceptional animation talents have left an indelible mark on beloved films like "Winnie The Pooh", "Tangled", "Treasure Planet", "Aladdin", and "The Little Mermaid. "Notably, Nik's animation of characters such as Hades in "Hercules" and Meeko in "Pocahontas" earned him prestigious awards, including multiple Annie Awards and recognition from the National Cartoonist Society.
