Joan Baz is a multidisciplinary visual artist, graphic designer and animator based between Beirut and Marseille. She is the co-founder and director of “Mt7rk”, an online platform dedicated to the animation industry in the Arab world. In 2015, she founded “Cardamon House”, a design, illustration and animation studio and in addition to her award-winning professional practice, Joan conducts workshops, trainings and taught at the Graphic Design Department at the Lebanese American University and the American University of Beirut.
