Giorgio Scorza is a renowned Italian animation filmmaker and producer who officially has been selected at Annecy International Film Festival (2002). Since then, he has won several awards in Italy and abroad, including at Poitiers Film Festival.
In 2004, he co-founded Movimenti Production, which became a key animation studio collaborating with RAI, Netflix, and Disney on acclaimed projects like Le Loup and Topo Gigio. In 2018, he co-founded DogHead Animation, the studio behind Tear Along the Dotted Line—Italy’s first animated series by Zerocalcare, which premiered on Netflix and won multiple awards, including Best TV Series at the Diversity Media Awards (2022), Nastro of the Year, and Globo d’Oro (2022). At SAC25, Giorgio will share key insights on the future of animation, exploring how new storytelling techniques and technology are shaping content for younger audiences.
