Donato Di Carlo is a director, animator, and post-producer. Over the course of more than ten years, he has directed numerous commercials and short films. He is a co-founder of Dadomani Studio, which has become one of the leading references for stop motion in Italy and renowned worldwide. Self-taught in music, Donato has attended various schools focusing on the language of images. After completing his graphic studies, he attended a school for editorial illustration. He then began working at Yusaki Studio animating in stop motion with plasticine. He also attended an animation course at the Milan Film School and later collaborated with the European Institute of Design (IED) as an assistant in the animation course. After about a decade in the world of post-production, he founded Dadomani Studio with three other visionaries. He has conducted workshops on stop motion animation in various countries besides Italy, including Brazil, Greece, and Madagascar.
